We had a terrific turnout for the first "Back in the Saddle" event.  With 9 horse and riders, we were privileged to have a quick ground work lesson before we mounted up.  Upon mounting, the ladies took off on their own around the arena and enjoyed a nice quiet ride in the saddle.  We followed up with a quick game of the flag and bucket, the ladies did a great job maneuvering their horses across the arena to get the flag and transport it back to their team.  We then cooled down the horses, dismounted, and headed for the viewing room where we enjoyed hot cocoa and snacks.  I think fun was had by all, and we are definitely looking forward to our next ride on February 27th.  Hope to see you then!!!
